With advances in electronic technology, music is becoming more prevalent in people's lives, work, and studies. Adolescents often enjoy music while studying to improve their learning environment. However, the impact of background music on cognitive activity remains a subject of ongoing debate. Some studies suggest that music can improve learning by soothing the mood and improving concentration. However, other studies suggest that background music may take away cognitive resources and lead to lower academic performance. This study aims to investigate the influence of attention problems in adolescents on their learning abilities and to explore the potential of utilizing background music to address inattention issues and enhance adolescents' learning outcomes.
